Wow, what an incredible day for a cross country meet! There were many amazing performances... Gabby Carbonara was spectacular, setting a Middle School Course Record for Girls. And she was only one second ahead of the second place, Kollin Watermasysk of Gloucester City.
In the High School Boys race Cosmo Pirozzi bounced back from a bogey performance last year to lead his Schalick Team to a dominating victory. His teammates, Samuel Gerstenbacher and Sam Mercoli were close behind.
On the girls side... the gals from Cape May Tech, lead by Hannah Dietrich, car-pooled their way to defend their team title, while Olivia Gerstenbacher ran away from everyone else, finishing over two minutes ahead of second place finisher, Gaudelaupe Bautista, of Bridgeton. And YEAH for the home girl in 3rd, Callan Muffley, who ran a Personal Best by :45.
